Join PAN at this free exhibit and (re)discover Japanese culture.
With his sculptures, often called “art dolls”, artist Yuki ATAE, born in 1937, opens the doors of a unique universe. For his 80th birthday, his works will be on display for the 2nd time in Paris: the opportunity to review a rich career spanning 50 years of artistic activity through his most representative works, as well as to discover his recent creations.
In Japan, Yuki ATAE’s exhibits attract many visitors, all over the country. Abroad, New York and São Paulo have also hosted his works which awaken a nostalgia buried deep inside of each of us, despite cultural differences.
For this show, Yuki ATAE is displaying over 100 sculptures divided into five sections: A Nostalgic World, Tribute to the Filmmaker Yasujirô Ozu, Memorial of the Showa era (1926-1989), etc.
See www.atae-yuki-paris.fr for more about his exquisite and moving work.
